Air India has announced a major upgrade to its Delhi (DEL)–Toronto (YYZ) service by deploying its newest Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and removing the technical fuel stop in Vienna from August 1, 2026. The enhanced service will operate non-stop (subject to available airspace), reducing travel time by nearly three hours while providing a faster, more comfortable, and seamless travel experience between India and Canada.
Additionally, Air India will restore daily flights between Delhi and Toronto from August 1, 2026, further improving connectivity for travelers flying between India and Canada.

The newly inducted Boeing 787-9 features Air India’s latest cabin interiors, offering upgraded seating, modern entertainment systems, enhanced lighting, and improved passenger comfort across all cabin classes.
Passengers traveling beyond Toronto can also benefit from convenient domestic connections across Canada through Toronto Pearson International Airport, making onward travel easier to cities such as Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Winnipeg, and Montreal.
